Small Business Saturday is American Express’ SuperBowl. This year, we wanted to focus on the people behind the small businesses, using storytelling to highlight a curated list of NYC businesses. We spent the day with busy supermom Zanna Roberts Rassi, cofounder of Milk Makeup, as she showed us how her Amex card helps her juggle a hectic schedule with ease.

American Express Platinum House

In 2016, American Express launched their Platinum House experiences for Platinum Card members. Paired with tentpole events around the world such as London Fashion week, Coachella and Miami Art Basel, Amex gave card members exclusive access to what is typically reserved for insiders and celebrities. But how do you share an exclusive event with the world? We used a robust content strategy that included teaser videos leading up to the event, influencer content as it’s happening and flashy recap videos to build anticipation for the next one.
