Microsoft Dynamics is the backbone of many businesses, but CMS, ERP and data management can be difficult to talk about and tbh, kinda boring. Our approach was to highlight the human side of the software, sharing the personal stories of real business owners to connect with our target in a relatable and aspirational way.
The video series, “From Start-Up to Stand Out,” featured successful entrepreneurs telling their personal stories of how they pursued their dreams and made them a reality using Microsoft Dynamics.
The first vignette in the series featured Barbara Corcoran, famous Shark Tank judge and serial entrepreneur.
COCO & BREEZY eyewear
Next we told the story of Coco & Breezy Eyewear. In the early days, the Dotson sisters — who were only 19 years old at the time — made glasses in their small Bushwick apartment. Those glasses were eventually worn by Lady Gaga. And within three months, their glasses adorned the faces of Kelly Osbourne, Ashanti, Nicki Minaj and Prince. As the company grew, so did their need for enterprise software.
We spent the day with them as they told us the story of their start-up and how Microsoft Dynamics helps them on the back end, so they can focus on their craft.
young and Reckless clothing
At age 22, with no background in business or fashion, Drama launched a t-shirt and streetwear line, Young & Reckless, which has grown into a nationwide brand. By 2016, Young & Reckless had distribution in more than 3,000 Macy’s, Dillard’s and PacSun stores, celebrity endorsements from Puff Daddy and Justin Bieber, 43 employees, and $31 million in revenue.
We chatted with him at his production studio about how Microsoft Dynamics helps his business so he can focus on creating the next season’s lineup.
