Bon viv makes a splash with Ruth Carter

To build awareness and break through in the crowded spiked seltzer space during Halloween, we partnered with one of the best costume designers in the world, Ruth Carter, to create a one-of-a-kind $25,000 mermaid costume based on Bon & Viv’s logo, and give it away to one lucky instagrammer. 

Not only did the winner get to take home the over-the-top costume, but they also got a one-on-one consultation with Ruth to ensure that the costume was tailored specifically for the prize holder – personalized to size, shape and style.

Content creation

To build anticipation for the campaign, we spent the afternoon shooting with Ruth as she showed off her studio and walked us through her creative process. We were there with our film crew to shoot a behind the scenes video that was also repurposed into social media cut-downs, animated GIFs and a library of stills.
